Trump ja ICC: Kuka valehtelee enemmän?

Trumpin uudet sanktiot ICC:tä vastaan herättävät kysymyksiä oikeudesta ja politiikasta. Ketkä ovat oikeasti pahiksia?

Alkuperäinen tarkoitus on ollut tutkia mahdollisia sodanrikkomuksia ja ihmisoikeusrikkomuksia, mutta nyt sääntöjen täytyy ilmeisesti muovautua poliittisten tuulien mukaan. Politiikka ja oikeus eivät ole koskaan olleet hyvissä väleissä, ja ICC:n tilanne on täydellinen esimerkki tästä ikuisesta ristiriidasta.

Loppujen lopuksi on mielenkiintoista huomata, että tiedotusvälineet ja kansalaiset seuraavat tiiviisti tapahtumia - ja se ei johdu vain poliittisista mielenkiinnon kohteista.
