Ciri on palannut: Näin Witcher 4 vie meidät uusiin seikkailuihin!

Witcher 4:n uusi traileri julkaistiin ja Ciri on päähenkilönä! Lue, mitä hauskaa ja jännittävää uutta peli tuo tullessaan!

CD Projekt RED on vihdoin avannut verhoja odotetulle pelille, Witcher 4:lle, jonka traileria esiteltiin The Game Awards 2024 -tapahtumassa. Uuden pelin keskiössä on Ciri, joka tunnetaan viime pelistä "Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt". Trailerissa kymmenminuuttinen seikkailu avaa ovia Ciri elämän uusiin haasteisiin, sillä hän astuu ylivoimaiseen rooliin lohikäärmeiden, monstrojen ja aikamatkojen keskellä. Sorjuvana sankarina hän vie pelaajat mukaan jännittävään, tummanpuhuvaan tarinaan, jossa fate ei ole pelkästään sanaleikki, vaan syvällinen osa pelin narrativaa.

Eikö olekin upeaa nähdä, kuinka Ciri ja Geralt ovat yhä tarinan keskiössä? Huhut siitä, että Geralt palaisi pelissä, ovat saaneet vahvistuksen, mutta hänen roolinsa jää vielä salaisuudeksi. Pelin kehittäjät ovat tässä vaiheessa vakuuttaneet, että he kunnioittavat aikaisempien pelien käänteitä ja antavat Cirilä sen tarinan, jota fanit ovat kaivanneet. What’s more, uusi Unreal Engine 5 takaa henkeäsalpaavat grafiikat, jotka tekevät Witcher 4:stä visuaalisen ilotulituksen, jota tuskin voi odottaa!

Ciri ja Geralt tuovat peliin tunteen, johon on helppo samaistua. Fanit ovat riemuissaan ja kollegat kehittäjät CD Projekt RED ovat vakuuttaneet, että Ciri:n tarina on suurempi ja monimutkaisempi kuin koskaan ennen, ja yhteys aikaisempiin peleihin tulee olemaan avaintekijä. Trailerin myötä on tullut myös uusia pelimekaniikkoja, joiden avulla pelaajat voivat kehittää Ciriä tavalla, jota ei ole aiemmin nähty. He ovat tietoisia tästä ja korostavat, että heidän visio on pitää tarina koherenttina ja linjassa aiempien pelien kanssa. Lisäksi, pelin alkumetreiltä alkaen, trailerissa on viittaus Lynx-kouluun, joka herättää paljon kysymyksiä fanien keskuudessa.
