Viime aikoina on tullut ilmi, että yli 52 % Gen Z:stä ja millenniaaleista harkitsee siirtymistä paikallisiin pankkeihin tai luottolaitoksiin. Tämä luo herkkua kilpailulle perinteisten pankkien ja uusien, asiakaslähtöisempien vaihtoehtojen välillä. Mutta miksi niin suuri osa nuoresta väestöstä etsii vaihtoehtoja? Jatkuvasti kehittyvä digitaalisuus ja nopeampi palvelu ovat vain muutamia syitä, miksi nämä nuorisoryhmät ovat kiinnostuneita vaihtamaan pankkia. Miten tämä vallankumous vaikuttaa pankkimaailmaan, ja mitä se tarkoittaa nuorille kuluttajille?

Samaan aikaan kauneustuotemarkkinoilla on havaittu merkittävä muutos Gen Z:n mielentilassa. Esimerkiksi Sephora on noussut voittoon, kun taas perinteiset, laajemman asiakaskunnan suosimat brändit kuten Neutrogena ja Cetaphil voivat kohdata haasteita. Gen Z:n kuluttajat ilmaisevat yhä enemmän kiinnostustaan brändejä kohtaan, jotka ovat innovatiivisia ja yhteiskunnallisesti vastuullisia. Tämä tarkoittaa, että kauneusbrändit, jotka eivät pysty erottumaan joukosta, voivat jäädä huomaamatta.

Kun otetaan huomioon, että Gen Z on internetissä kasvanut sukupolvi, heille on ensiarvoisen tärkeää, että kauneustuotteet ovat myös sosiaalisesti hyväksyttäviä ja kestäviä. Tuotteen laatu ei enää riitä – se, miten brändi itsensä esittää ja miten se vaikuttaa ympäristöön, on avainasemassa.
