Nauti Emily in Paris -sarjan 4. kauden jännittävistä käänteistä! Uudet rakkaudet ja vanhat siskot, mutta Gabriel uhkuu kuin turha kissa – mitä tässä oikein tapahtuu?

Emilyn matka Pariisissa on ollut täynnä romantiikkaa ja seikkailuja, ja uuden neljännen kauden päätösjakso ei ollut poikkeus. Alkuvuodeksi, Emily, tuore kamarineiti, rakastui hurmaavaan italialaiseen Marcelloon ja kilpailee hänen sydämestään yhdessä uhkaavan Gabrielin kanssa. Rakkautta on ilmassa, mutta draamaa tuodaan lisää, kun Gabriel, hänen eksänsä ja ihan vain turha kiusaaja, ilmestyy jälleen paikalle häiriten romanttista tasapainoa. Voiko Emily koskaan löytää rauhan rakkaudessaan, vai jääkö hän ikuisesti rakkauden kolmiodraamaan?

Kun kauden ensimmäinen puolisko esiteltiin, katsojat saivat nauttia Sylvien ja JVMA:n menneisyydestä sekä Emilyn rakkaustarinoista, joissa jokainen jakso toi uusia yllätyksiä. Kauden kauniissa jälkimmäisessä puoliskossa katsojat saivat nauttia myös Mindylle ja Sylvielle annetuista valtapeleistä, unohtamatta ensi kertaa sarjassa esiintynyttä todellista pahista. Kauden hienovaraisuus on, että vaikka jokainen jakso on täynnä kiireitä, vie hetki rauhoittua ja miettiä, kuinka paljon draamaa voi yhdentekevään elämään mahtua.

Sarja on kuitenkin saanut osakseen kritiikkiä uusista jaksoformaatista, joka on hämmentänyt niin katsojia kuin näyttelijöitäkin. Näyttelijä Lucas Bravo myöntää, että Gabrielin ja Emilyn välinen dynamiikka on kehittynyt entistä vähemmän ennakoitavaksi. Vaikka yleisö odottaa enemmän romanttisia hetkiä ja vähemmän ihmisiä, jotka sekoittavat pakkaa, sarjan luoja Darren Star lupaa, että tulevissa jaksoissa nähdään yhä enemmän kauniita maisemia ja uusia ylilyöntejä.

Jäikö viimeisessä jaksossa jokin kysymykseksi? Mihin suuntaan Emily jatkaa seuraavaksi? Eikö olekin ihanaa, että fanit voivat spekuloida samalla kun nauttivat näyttelijöiden huikeista esityksistä? Vihjeitä tulevasta on jo ilmassa ja huhuja kuullaan, että ehkä seuraavassa kaudessa saamme nähdä jopa lisää Roomaa ja sen romantiikkaa. Onko Marcello ja Emily parempi pari kuin Gabriel? Se jää nähtäväksi, mutta yksi on varma: kunnes seuraava kausi saapuu, Parisin kaduilla tanssitaan – ja johonkin meillä on aina aikaa.

Tiesitkö muuten, että "Emily in Paris" on yksi Netflixin eniten katsotuista sarjoista, minkä vuoksi se on jo saanut useita kausien jatkoa? Samalla, Netflixin strategia julkaista sarjojaan kahtena puoliskona on saanut paljon keskustelua aikaan, ja katsojat ovat jakautuneet kahteen leiriin – toiset rakastavat sitä, toiset eivät. Mutta ei mitään huolta, sillä yksi asia on varma: romanttiset sekoilut Pariisissa eivät lopu lähiaikoina!
