Olinko ainoa, joka luuli Olympiakylän olevan ainoastaan urheilua? Luana Alonso yllätti kaikki!

Paraguaylaisen uimarin Luana Alonson matka Pariisin olympialaisissa sai yllättävän käänteen, kun hänet heitettiin ulos Olympiakylästä luomastaan "epäsopivasta ympäristöstä". Luana, joka kisasi naisten 100 metrin perhosuinnissa, ei päässyt jatkoon, mutta se ei estänyt häntä tekemästä otsikoita. Huolemme, oliko hänen uima-asuissaan tarpeeksi "urheiluhenkeä" vai oliko häntä vaivannut jokin muu? Se on kysymys, jota koko maailma pohtii.

Kun Luana sai potkut Olympiakylästä, monet miettivät, mitä tapahtui, ja oliko kyseessä kenties liiallinen hauskanpito vai jotain vakavampaa. Athletet, kuten Luana, ovat tunnettuja siitä, että he ottavat kilpailut tosissaan, mutta ehkä Olympiakylässä oli myös hieman liian paljon juhlintaa? Onko mahdollista, että itse urheilun tarkoitus on unohtunut voitonhimossa? Luana näyttää olevan esimerkki siitä, mitä voi tapahtua, kun festivaalitunnus vie voiton kilpailuasenteelta.

Tiedämme kaikki, kuinka hieno ja jännittävä tapahtuma olympialaiset ovat. Mutta jos ajatellaan, mitä todella tapahtuu kulissien takana – huvipuisto- ja muotifriikkien temmellyksessä? Voisiko tämä olla yksi vuoden kohokohdista? Kuitenkin on tärkeää muistaa, että urheilu ja kilpailu ovat siellä taustalla.

Kaiken tämän keskellä Luana kieltäytyi uimisesta olympialaisten jälkeen ja purjehti aivan uusiin seikkailuihin. Hänen uransa näyttäisi olevan jo ohi, mutta onko mahdollista, että hän vielä palaa uima-altaalle? Muistakaamme, että ainakin yksi asia yhdistää tätä nuorta uima-asuista innostunutta urheilijaa ja Disneylandia: molemmat ovat paikkoja, joissa unelmat toteutuvat!... tai vaihtoehtoisesti, ne saavat täysin uuden käänteen!
