Robert Helenius on saanut kahden vuoden kilpailukiellon epäonnistuneen huumeiden testin jälkeen Anthony Joshualta saamansa tappion jälkeen. 40-vuotias suomalaismammutti oli viime hetken korvaaja ja kohtasi dopingkärynsä seurauksena rankan rangaistuksen. Britanniassa tehty testi paljasti kielletyn aineen, klomifeenin, Robert Heleniuksen järjestelmässä. UK Anti-Doping ja Suomen ammattinyrkkeilyliitto SAN ovat molemmat asettaneet raskaansarjan nyrkkeilijän kahden vuoden kilpailukieltoon. Helenius on nyt joutunut pitkälle tauolle nyrkkeilystä huumeiden käytön vuoksi. ESPN raportoi, että Robert Helenius hyllytettiin kahdeksi vuodeksi antidoping-sääntöjen rikkomisesta käytettyään kiellettyä ainetta ottelussaan Anthony Joshuaa vastaan.
