Nuoren naisen murha ja kidnappaus herättävät kauhua Hamas-terroristien toimesta

Hamas-terroristit iskivät ja murhasivat nuoren naisen, Shani Loukin, lokakuun 7. päivä Nova Festivaalilla Re'imissä. Kauhistuttavan teon jälkeen Loukin ruumis siepattiin Gazaan, jossa se vietiin hänen vanhempiensa luokse hautajaisiin. Loukin isä Nissim pyysi yleisöä osallistumaan hautajaisiin Moshav Srigim-LiOnissa, Israelissa. Loukista tuli symboli Hamasin vallanhalulle ja julmuudelle. Supernova-musiikkifestivaalilla tapahtuneen hyökkäyksen jälkeen Louk päätyi Gazan kaappauksen traagiseksi kasvoksi. Israel-Hamas -sodan tuoreimpien tapahtumien joukossa on Loukin hautajaiset, joissa ilmaistiin voimakas vastustus Hamasilaisille. Israelilainen ilmaisku keskellä Gazan pakolaisleiriä tappoi vähintään 35 ihmistä, mukaan lukien seitsemän lasta. Saksalais-israelilaisen Shani Loukin isä kuvaili tyttärensä hautaamista merkittävänä lahjana sen jälkeen kun hänen ruumiinsa saatiin palautettua Gazasta. Loukin murha ja kidnappaus muodostavat osan Israelin ja Hamasin välisestä konfliktista, joka vaatii edelleen ratkaisuja ja tuomitsevaa reaktiota kansainvälisesti.
