Ruotsalainen ilmastoaktivisti Greta Thunberg joutui pidätetyksi Hollannissa, kun hän osallistui ilmastoprotestiin Haagissa. Poliisit pidättivät Thunbergin ja muita aktivisteja, jotka yrittivät estää pääväylän liikennettä Haagiin. Pidätyksen jälkeen hän vapautettiin, mutta tapaus herätti laajaa huomiota.

Thunberg osallistui protestiin yhdessä satojen muiden aktivistien kanssa, jotka vaativat loppua fossiilisten polttoaineiden tukemiselle Hollannissa. Koko tapahtuma oli osa ilmastoliikkeen pyrkimyksiä herättää huomiota ympäristökysymyksiin ja vaatia konkreettisia toimia ilmastonmuutoksen torjumiseksi.
