Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League -peliin odotetaan uutta virtaa Jokerin kauden muodossa. Vaikka peli onkin saanut osakseen pettymyksiä, Jokerin saapuminen on herättänyt kiinnostusta. Jokerin avaus vaatii joko säännöllistä pelaamista ja grindamista tai vaihtoehtoisesti hahmon voi ostaa 1000 Luthor Creditsin hinnalla kaupasta. Pelaajia kuitenkin ärsyttää pelissä esiintyvä jatkuva grindaus sekä puutteellinen juoni. Kritiikkiä on saanut myös tasohyppelyt, jotka eivät tarjoa riittävästi vaihtelua. DC:n julkaisema esikatselu kertoo tarinasta, jossa Jokeri liittyy Task Force X -ryhmään hahmojen pelastettua hänet. Lisäksi Jokerin avaaminen edellyttää samojen tehtävien suorittamista, mikä herättää pelaajissa frustration.
