Suomi tekee comebackin rahoittaakseen YK:n palestiinalaispakolaisjärjestö UNRWA:ta ja kohtaa haasteita poliittisten lakkojen keskellä! 💰⚙️
Suomi on virallisesti ilmoittanut jatkavansa rahoitustaan YK:n palestiinalaispakolaisten avustusjärjestölle UNRWA:lle. Ulkomaankauppa- ja kehitysministeri Ville Tavion mukaan päätös seuraa Euroopan komission aiempaa julkistusta 54,7 miljoonan dollarin vapauttamisesta UNRWA:n rahoitukseen. Samalla Suomi on viimeisin Pohjoismaista, joka palauttaa tuen UNRWA:lle. Toisaalta suomalaisten rengasvalmistajan Nokian Renkaiden ilmoitus 350 työntekijän väliaikaisesta lomauttamisesta autonrenkaiden tehtaallaan Nokiassa 90 päivän ajaksi on herättänyt huolta. Lakon seurauksena tapahtuva lomautus aiheutti poliittisia ja tuotantoon liittyviä haasteita. Suomi on myös allekirjoittanut NATO:n joukkojen asemapaikkasopimuksen, avaten tien NATO-joukkojen sijoittamiseen Suomessa. Tämä päätös on herättänyt keskustelua maan puolueettomuudesta ja puolustuksesta.
